Gabby Samaripa (She/They)
Graduate Student Intern
Gabby believes that healing looks different for everyone and that the people we serve are worthy of being cared for and empathized with however they decide to show up to the work. Gabby has served on the board for Council for Students of Color as well as the Anti-Racist Planning Group at Smith College as a way to cultivate community for the queer BIPOC community she is dedicated to serving. Gabby has professionally worked with queer BIPOC communities surrounding sexual health and HIV/STI treatment and prevention, neurodivergent youth surrounding behavioral services, and within the Community Mental Health field to facilitate foundational relationship skills amongst some of the most vulnerable in our population.
They are currently pursuing a Master’s degree of social work at Smith College and has acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. In their free time, Gabby enjoys going to drag shows with her friends, psychoanalyzing reality TV, and taking her Pomeranian, Foxy, on adventures around the city.
Gabby is fluent in English.
